Podcast Vs. Everyone: All aboard the women’s hoops hype train

It’s mid-January, and there’s a ton going on in the world of the Washington State Cougars! We tried to tackle as much of it as we could, leading off with the women’s basketball team, which is coming off one of the bigger wins in program history.

They’ve beaten other top 10 teams before, but never have they beat a top 10 team and had it lead to being ranked — and the Cougars are now ranked for the first time. We’ll talk about how they’re doing it, led by the incredible Leger-Walker sisters.

From there, we touch on soccer phenom Trinity Rodman deciding to bypass playing for the Cougs, which is a bummer, but also awesome for her and the program, and then we celebrate some of the good news with Cougar football, which includes adding grad transfer QB Jarrett Guarantano and also Max Borghi announcing he’d be returning in 2021.
