Good morning Coug fans. The spring sports season is slowly winding to a close on the Palouse. The baseball team only has a few more weeks, and it began a three-game series last night in Pullman against the nation’s top-ranked team, the UCLA Bruins.
It was Dog Day at the Park, and fans brought a bunch of good boys for an evening of baseball. Unfortunately, the Cougs couldn’t give the dogs a win, as they dropped a 6-2 decision.
I mean, just look at these pups:
The Cougs and Bruins each got runs in the first and second innings, but a three-run fourth gave the Bruins a cushion it wouldn’t surrender.
