Washington, like many other states, allows anyone to donate their body parts to help save others as well as donate their body for medical research [“Who buys, sells and uses fetal tissue acquired from abortion clinics,” News, July 27).
Yet, the current knee-jerk reaction prompted by anti-abortion people and Republican politicians, including our own state legislators, is precisely the brouhaha they intended to foment.
What is so inflammatory about Planned Parenthood’s actions — the same type of actions that you yourself can opt for when you die?
