Anglers reaching limit nearly every day in spots from south-central Puget Sound to Port Townsend.
Local salmon anglers are blushing with delight over the outstanding pink salmon fishing happening from south-central Puget Sound to Whidbey Island.
“The pink fishery has been going pretty strong, and they’re plentiful,” said Gary Krein, owner of All-Star Charters in Everett. “We’ve limited or have come very close to landing all our fish on every trip, and we’re just fishing in front of Shilshole Bay.”
The trail of good pink fishing either from a boat or a short cast from shore is happening off Port Townsend near Point Wilson; off the west side of Whidbey Island at Fort Casey, Bush Point and Lagoon Point; Marrowstone Island; Point No Point; Possession Bar; Mukilteo south to “Humpy Hollow” located just north of Browns Bay; from Meadow Point to West Point south of Shilshole Bay; Alki Point; and Jefferson Head.
