Washington State junior outside hitter Pia Timmer earned her first Pac-12 offensive player of the week award on Monday. After helping lead the Cougs to their second consecutive tournament championship, Timmer earned the first offensive award for the Cougars since 2018.
On top of being named offensive player of the week, she was also named MVP of the Thunderdome Classic in Santa Barbara, California. The Cougars began the tournament on Friday night with a 3-0 victory against host UC Santa Barbara. They followed that up with another 3-0 victory on Saturday morning against VCU that gave them a spot in the championship rematch against UC Santa Barbara.
