Washington State Cougars athletics director Pat Chun will hold a prominent role in a newly launched anti-racism initiative by the Pac-12, the conference announced on Wednesday.
Chun will co-chair the Social Justice & Anti-Racism Advisory Group with USC faculty athletics representative Alan Green; the group will also include “four members each among the student-athlete leadership team, athletic directors, senior women administrators and faculty athletic representatives,” the conference said via news release.
There will be one other member of the group: The conference’s “Head of Diversity & Inclusion” — a newly created position that has yet to be filled.
