A pair of Washington State basketball players have joined the Canadian U19 team in Hungary for the World Cup this week. Freshman Tara Wallack and Sophomore Jessica Clarke have helped Canada, who currently sit in first in their group as they prepare for the round of 16 which begins Wednesday.
Canada, the fourth ranked team in FIBA started out the tournament with a 1-point loss to Japan on Saturday. Wallack finished going two of five from the field and finished with four points, two rebounds, an assist, and a steal. Clarke came off the bench and went three for five for six points, six rebounds, and a block.
