Larry Scott does not believe the Pac-12 Conference has a credibility issue.
“No, I don’t think so,” the commissioner said during halftime of the Washington-Colorado game Saturday afternoon at Husky Stadium. “I think anyone that’s aware of the efforts and the caliber of people that are involved, and frankly the independent people that work with all the conferences hold our officiating in very, very high regard. We have crews chosen for the national championship game recently, all the big bowl games, but that’s not to say mistakes aren’t made.”
Scott acknowledged a mistake earlier this month after a Yahoo Sports report revealed that Pac-12 executive Woodie Dixon overturned a controversial targeting call in the USC-Washington State game on Sept.
