SALT LAKE CITY – Throughout 98' of action the No. 7 Washington State soccer team (10-2-0, 3-2-0) had its chances to secure the road win at Utah (6-6-1, 3-2-0), but one mistake in the first overtime of play proved to be the difference as the Utes pulls off the 1-0 upset of the Cougars Sunday afternoon at Ute Soccer Field. Facing a building attack late in the extra period, the Cougs lost sight of the Utes' Holly Daugirda inside the penalty area allowing the Utah midfielder a free look at goal that she would convert to end the game.
