WSU rowing collects food donations each May in conjunction with the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.
PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State rowing collected over 2,000 pounds of food and $400 for the Pullman Food Bank, as part of the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC), Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive, last Saturday, May 4.
Members of the Cougar rowing team were stationed at Walmart, Dissmore's IGA of Pullman and Safeway during the day Saturday. The Pullman Food Bank, a division of Pullman Child Welfare, keeps all food collected locally.
Due to scheduling, WSU rowing held its drive a week early.
