LEWISTON, Idaho – Washington State football continued fall practice with a two-hour workout at Sacajawea Junior High School Tuesday afternoon.
The Cougars practiced in shoulder pads for the second straight day after opening camp with two days in shorts and helmets. The practice schedule was similar to previous days as WSU went through individual position workouts, a 1-vs.-1 drill while the lines went against each other in the running game drill, 7-vs.-7, some special team drills and wrapping up with 11-vs.-11 team.
In the team session, Peyton Bender opened with a long completions to freshman wideout Kyle Sweet who made the catch before weaving through and around a couple defenders for a 90-yard touchdown.
