LAS VEGAS – Ny Redding and Renard Suggs have left the Washington State basketball team, giving coach Ernie Kent two scholarships should he seek to overhaul as well as improve a roster that won just one Pac-12 game this year.
“Ny and Renard have been great contributors to our basketball program both on and off the court. We wish them the very best in all their future endeavors,” Kent said in a press release.
Redding and Suggs are the fourth and fifth players recruited by Kent to have left the program in two years. Last season freshmen Trevor Dunbar and Jackie Davis, as well as junior college transfer Aaron Cheatum, left the program after playing for one year.
