PULLMAN, Wash. – The No. 66 Washington State tennis team won its second match of the day with a 7-0 sweep against Lewis-Clark State, Sunday at the Simmelink Tennis Courts at Hollingbery Fieldhouse. With the win the Cougars improve to 12-0 on the season.
Beginning with doubles play, the No. 3 pair of Aneta Miksovska and Barbora Michalkova swept, Anna Rodriguez and Deanri Human 6-0, while Donika Bashota and Lize Leenknecht posted the same score knocking-off Lauren Lang and Stephanie Buckingham 6-0 at No. 1 to clinch the point. The No.2 duo of Trang Huynh and Victoria Matejevic led Hannah Uhlenkott and Kianna Arthur, 4-2, when the match was stopped.
