SAN FRANCISCO – Junior Hailey Johnson and senior Presley Wetterstrom of the Washington State swim team were named to the Pac-12 Conference All-Academic First team, conference commissioner Larry Scott announced, Friday.
In total, nine Cougars swimmers garnered academic honors from the conference, including two second team honors, with five receiving honorable mention. To be eligible for selection to the all-academic teams, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and appear in at least 50 percent of their team’s competitions.
