LINCOLN, Neb. (Jan. 26, 2025) – Washington State Tennis saw its five-match winning streak to start the season end with a 5-2 loss to Nebraska Sunday at the Sid & Hazel Dillon Tennis Center.
The Huskers jumped out quickly, taking two doubles matches for the opening point. At No. 3, Nebraska's Emma Rizzetto and Tiziana Rossini cruised by Hania Abouelsaad and Martina Markov, 6-1, which the point was secured when Reya Lee Coe and Maria Taranova posted a 6-3 win over Elyse Tse and Chisato Kanemaki on Court 2.
