LAHAINA, Hawaii – Sophomore and freshman each posted two victories for Washington State to highlight the second day of play at the Hawaii Spring Invitational at the Royal Lahaina Tennis Ranch on the island of Maui Friday.
The three-team non-scoring tournament, featuring host Hawaii, Washington State and Kansas, consists of singles and doubles matches each day. The day began with doubles play where the Cougar duo of and Lejla Coli won for the second time in as many days. The pair posted a 6-2 victory over Hawaii's Michelle Pits and Alzbeta Houbova, the lone doubles win of the day for WSU.
