Men's Golf Ends Round One of The Goodwin in a tie for 15th

STANFORD, Calif. – The Washington State men's golf team sits in a tie for 15th place after 18 holes of play at The Goodwin. The Cougars carded 1-over; 281 in the first round Thursday, March 24, to open the three-day tournament, which is being played at the Stanford Golf Course.

Freshman Peter Jung paces the Cougars at the end of the first round. The Honolulu, Hawai'i native shot 1-under; 69 during his first go-around at the Stanford Golf Course. Jung played extremely well on the back nine, shooting 3-under par over his final nine holes.
