JURUPA VALLEY, Calif. – The Washington State men's golf team posted a second-place finish at The Joust Tournament on Tuesday Feb. 23, as the Cougars carded at 877 (+37). Fifth-year senior Nicklaus Chiam posted a top-10 finish for the Cougs, as he completed play at the Goose Creek Golf Club shooting six-over-par; 216.
The second-place finish at The Joust marks WSU's highest team finish outside of Pullman in seven seasons, when the Cougars captured the team title at the Pacific Invitational back on Nov. 1, 2014. Washington State shot 284 (+4) in the final round of The Joust to climb up five spots on the team leaderboard on Tuesday, moving from seventh to second.
