HOUSTON, Texas (November 19, 2021) – Washington State Women's Swimming produced a record-setting day with another school record and three Top-10 times in day two at the Phill Hansel Invitational hosted by the University of Houston Friday.
Senior Taylor McCoy opened the morning by posting the best preliminary time in the 400 IM at 4:15.81, good for an NCAA "B" time but made history in the evening final, recording a 4:14.58 to win the 400 IM by nearly half a second.
Three Cougars posted Top-10 times in the morning session led by freshman Angela Di Palo who recorded the fourth-fastest 200 freestyle time in program history and fellow freshman Noelle Harvey recorded the tenth-fastest time in the same event.
