A 28-year-old man was arrested Thursday night on suspicion of attacking a transgender woman at Cal Anderson Park, according to Seattle police.
The man reportedly harassed the woman, threw a cup of ice water at her, and punched her in the head, a news release says.
Officers found the suspect while checking another disturbance two hours later in the 1400 block of Boylston Avenue. The man was arrested on suspicion of assault, and police say they’re considering possible charges under Washington’s hate crime statute, the release says.
