Luke Falk throws 6 TD passes in first half to help WSU roll over Oregon State

PULLMAN – Last week was not a fluke.

That was the message Washington State sent in a 52-31 win over Oregon State that gave the Cougars their first blowout win of the season, and their first back-to-back Pac-12 wins since November 2013.

Quarterback Luke Falk tied the school record for touchdown passes in a game and set a new record for touchdown passes in a half with six scoring tosses to four receivers before halftime. He also moved up to eighth place on the WSU career list for touchdown passes.

Falk, who now has 34 career touchdowns, finished 39 of 50 for 407 yards against the same team he pummeled last season for five touchdowns and 471 yards in his first college football start.
