Logan Tago Accepts Plea Deal, Suspended Indefinitely

Washington State junior linebacker Logan Tago accepted a plea bargain after being charged with second-degree felony robbery and fourth-degree misdemeanor assault over the summer.

According to Stefanie Loh of the Seattle Times, the misdemeanor assault charge was dismissed and the second-degree felony robbery was dropped to a third-degree assault.

The incident occurred on June 4, 2016 when Tago allegedly took a Pullman man’s six-pack of beer and hit the victim in the head. The victim reported that he has suffered a concussion in the assault.

As a result of the plea deal, Tago will serve 30 days in the Whitman County Jail, perform 240 hours of community service, and pay $800 in fines.
