SAN FRANCISO, Calif. – Washington State University standout rower, Lisa Roman, has been named to the Pac-12 Women’s Rowing All-Century Team, the conference announced this week.
A transfer from University of the Fraser Valley, Roman (Langley, British Columbia) competed with the Cougar varsity rowing team for three seasons, rowing in the varsity boat all three years (2010-12). She is a two-time all-conference honoree, and in 2012 was named to the CRCA All-West Region First Team and the Pocock All-America Second Team.
Out of the 57 nominees, 22 rowers and 3 coxswains were honored with the distinction that were selected by a panel consisting of coaches, players, administrators and members of the media based on their collegiate careers in the conference.
