PLOVDIV, Bulgaria - Following the conclusion of the World Rowing Championships in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, row2k announced former Washington State University rower, Lisa Roman, as the No. 14 rower in the world.
In order to qualify for such a ranking, a rower must have medaled at the most recent World or Olympic regatta. From there, each athlete receives a score, which is based on where they placed in each of their races.
