Leger-Walker named Pac-12 Player of the Week for the second time in her career

SAN FRANCISCO – The Pac-12 Conference announced Monday, November 14, that Washington State women's basketball junior Charlisse Leger-Walker has been named the first Pac-12 Player of the Week of the 2022-23 season. Leger-Walker averaged a league-best 25.0 points per game to help WSU go 3-0 during the opening week of the season.

It is Leger-Walker's second career Pac-12 Player of the Week honor, as she previously earned the distinction during her sophomore season back on Dec. 12, 2021. The guard from Waikato, New Zealand put on an offensive clinic during the opening week of the 2022-23 regular season, as scored a league-high 75 total points and shot a blistering hot 52 percent from the field hitting 26 of her 50 field goal attempts.
