Lee Walburn Sits 11th in NCAA Decathlon After First Day

EUGENE, Ore. (June 5, 2024) – Washington State senior Lee Walburn posted three personal-best marks and sits in 11th place following the first five events in the decathlon Wednesday at the 2024 NCAA Track and Field Championships at Hayward Field.

Walburn, from Whitefish, Mont., started strong as ran a personal-best time of 10.85 seconds in the 100m, the first event of the day. He followed that with a long jump of 6.50m, 21' 4".
