ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Freshman Mason Lawyer sets another freshman record while the Cougars as a team set five personal best marks Friday at the Albuquerquee Convention Center. Washington State men's and women's indoor track and field teams opened competition at elevation from the N.M. Team Open with the first leg of the two-day meet.
Freshman sprinter Mason Lawyer, who lowered the program's freshman 60m record (6.75) earlier this season, shattered another freshman record, this time in 200m. Lawyer clocked a time of 21.19 to place sixth in the men's 200m Friday and will be back in action tomorrow in the 60m dash.
