LOS ANGELES – Two second half goals halted No. 19 Washington State's (10-5-1, 3-4-1) winning streak against No. 18 UCLA (11-4-1, 5-2-0) as the Bruins took a 2-1 win over the Cougars Sunday afternoon in Westwood. For the first time on the year the Cougs could not hold onto a lead as the Bruins erased a one-goal halftime deficit with strikes in the 54' and in the 85'. Early on it looked like the Cougs may be on their way to another upset of the Bruins on the road when MacKenzie Frimpong-Ellertson connected on a volley in the 33' to put WSU out front.
