CORVALLIS, Ore. (March 12, 2025) – Washington State took a one-run lead into the seventh inning but eighth-ranked Oregon State used a two-out two-run home run to post a 4-3 win at Goss Stadium Wednesday afternoon.
The Cougars received two-hit games from and and built a 3-0 lead with three-run third inning but OSU scored a run in the fourth and fifth innings before hitting the go-ahead two-run home run in the seventh.
WSU pitched four freshmen led by starter who opened the game with three scoreless innings, striking out four along the way.
