In Case You Missed It
BOULDER, Colo. – A split second proved to be the difference between salvation and suffering for the Cougs (10-18, 3-13 Pac-12) who fell 72-69 at Colorado (14-13, 5-11 Pac-12) Sunday afternoon. With a chance to tie, a last second effort from deep by found the bottom of the net only to be waved off as the senior's shot came a moment after the final buzzer. The shot was a microcosm of the game as a whole as the Cougs seemed to be a split second late throughout, chasing the Buffs from the beginning of the game until the final seconds.
