INDIANAPOLIS – Kyle Busch’s incredible comeback rolled through Indianapolis Motor Speedway, where Busch won the Brickyard 400 on Sunday for a weekend sweep of NASCAR events at the historic track.
Busch missed the first 11 races of the season with a broken right leg and broken left foot suffered in a crash one day before the season-opening Daytona 500. He returned in late May and has won three consecutive Sprint Cup Series races and four of the last five.
“This has been a phenomenal return,” said Busch, who won the second-tier Xfinity Series race Saturday.
Busch is 23 points away from cracking the top 30 in the Cup standings.
