SPOKANE/ SEATTLE / ALBUQUERQUE / CLEMSON — Freshman broke Washington State's 49-year-old 5000-meter indoor record in Seattle while 3,000 miles away in South Carolina, sophomore lowered his own school mark in the 400 meter event to highlight Cougar Track & Field's coast-to-coast Friday schedule contested in four venues.
Additionally, captured the men's weight thrown in Spokane while set a personal-best and seventh-best indoor high jump in program history in Albuquerque Friday evening. Eight more WSU athletes set personal bests on the day.
