LAS VEGAS – The Washington State women's cross country program competed in the Battle Born Collegiate Challenge Friday morning, hosted by UNLV at the Craig Ranch Regional Park.

The Washington State women's program, currently ranked 12th in the west region, totaled 256 points in this event, placing ninth overall as a team.
WSU was led on the day once again by freshman Neema Kimtai who posted a 26th place finish overall with a time of 20:30.1. Kimtai was followed by teammate Erin Mullins in 36th place overall, recording a time of 20:44.
