PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State University women’s golf team is in first place with a total score of 581 (+5) through two rounds of play at the WSU Cougar Cup, Monday, at the Palouse Ridge Golf Club. The Cougars are five strokes ahead of Fresno State (+10, 591), in second place.
WSU leads the field of 12, with in-state rivals Seattle (+42, 618) in eighth and Eastern Washington (+43, 619) tied for ninth. Utah Valley’s Kalea Heu shot a hole in one on the 16th hole during the second round and CSU Fullerton’s Martina Edberg set a tournament record with a second round score of 65 (-7).
