Kaitlyn Johnson Playing for the Colorado Pride

PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State soccer rising-junior, Kaitlyn Johnson is playing for the Colorado Pride of the USL W-League this summer.

The Pride had its first game May 20, in which Johnson had the team’s first goal in the team’s 6-0 victory. The USL W-League’s games run through the middle of July. The USL W-League is a women’s developmental organization, as well as an open league which allows college soccer players the opportunity to play alongside international players, while maintaining their collegiate eligibility each summer. It is a part of the United Soccer Leagues system.
