CORVALLIS, Ore. (March 11, 2023) – Starting pitcher Caden Kaelber worked a career-high seven innings and Greg Fuchs hit a go-ahead home run as Washington State evened the series at No. 15 Oregon State with a 6-3 victory Saturday afternoon.
The Cougars (12-2, 1-1 Pac-12) collected nine hits to back Kaelber who allowed just two runs in the second inning and matched a career high with eight strikeouts over seven frames to earn the win. Relievers Cam Liss, Andrew Baughn and Chase Grillo sealed things up as Grillo picked up his fourth save with a scoreless ninth.
