For the second time in a week, the Washington State Cougars picked up a commitment from a junior college cornerback when Daniel Isom of Iowa Western Community College announced his intention to play for the Cougs.
Isom, who checks in at 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds, is not currently rated as a recruit by 247sports.com and he doesn’t have any other reported offers, but he was a low three-star recruit out of high school when he signed with the Northern Illinois Huskies in 2016.
Isom played as a true freshman for NIU, making six starts and playing in 10 games total, recording six pass breakups and 41 tackles.
