Johnstone, Myers Lead Cougars Past New Mexico, 16-11

All nine starters scored a run and five Cougars collected multiple-hit games as Johnstone recorded four hits including two doubles and one homer while Myers set career-highs with three hits including two doubles, four RBI and two runs scored. had a three-run double, doubled, homered and scored three runs and had an RBI-triple.

Cougar starting pitcher earned the win after going five innings with a pair of strikeouts.

WSU recorded nine extra-base hits and scored in the first three innings including an eight-run third inning.
