PULLMAN, Wash. (March 22, 2025) – hit a pair of home runs as Washington State beat San Diego State 13-3 in a run-ruled eighth innings at Bailey-Brayton Field Saturday afternoon. The Cougars beat the Aztecs by the same score in seven innings Friday. WSU has won three of its last four series.
WSU (8-14, 3-2 Mountain West) hit a season-high four home runs to back starter who allowed just one run while working into the seventh inning. Eight Cougar hitters collected hits and eight scored runs led by Johnstone who hit two home runs, walked three times, drove in three runs and scored three times.
