SAN FRANCISCO (Oct. 10, 2022) - Washington State running back Jaylen Jenkins was named the Pac-12 Conference Freshman Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.
Jenkins had a breakout game this past Saturday at No. 6 USC, setting season-highs with 13 carries for 130 yards and caught two passes for 54 yards including a 45-yard grab. The freshman from Allen, Texas recorded a season-high 184 all-purpose yards, averaged 10.0 yards-per-carry and had four runs of 10+ yards against the Trojans.
