Janke, King-Shaw Top Cougs at Inland Empire Championships in Lewiston

LEWISTON, Idaho -- Washington State's and led limited squads of Cougars at the Inland Empire Championships Saturday at the Lewis-Clark State College Cross Country Course in Lewiston, Idaho.

Janke, a sophomore from Spokane, Wash., finished sixth on the 8000m course in a time of 24 minutes 9.9 seconds. The WSU men and their finishes included 20th in 24:43.5, 21st in 24:43.6, 24th in 24:51.8, 27th in 24:57.0, 30th in 24:59.0, 40th in 25:13.8, and 48th in 25:26.5.

, a WSU competitor with only 2018 track eligibility, won the men's race running unattached in a time of 23:35.
