AUSTIN, Texas – Washington State University Track and Field saw two student-athletes compete in the men's high jump Friday evening from Mike A. Myers Stadium at the NCAA Championships.
, a sophomore from Walla Walla, Wash., recorded a lifetime best in the high jump after clearing 7-feet 1/2 inch (2.15m). Mitch cleared that height on his third and final attempt to secure the PR and advance to the next height of the competition. Jacobson finished 19th overall in his first trip to the NCAA Championships, and will now look to build off this experience for next season.
