The Washington State women are heading to Seattle, where they'll kick off Pac-12 Tournament play Thursday night against Colorado in the Key Arena. Despite a couple of bright spots, like beating UCLA at home and taking top 25 Kentucky to the brink on the road, it's been a disappointing season filled with injuries for the Cougs.
But despite the struggles, two players were able to take the opportunity and shine this season. Freshman Chanelle Molina and junior Caila Hailey have led the team, and on Tuesday, they were recognized by the Pac-12. Molina was named an honorable mention to the all-conference team, while Hailey earned a second straight honorable mention to the Pac-12 all defensive team.
