In-state wide receiver commits as preferred walk-on

With the 2016 signing day right around the corner the Washington State coaches are getting their final pushes in and were able to snag another in-state player.

Lake Stevens wide receiver Riley Krenz tweeted out on Monday that he would commit to the Cougars as a wide receiver. The Cougars have 4 incoming wide receivers on scholarship that are expected to sign this week.

The 5'11'' 197 lb Senior hauled in 68 receptions for 1,146 yards and 15 touchdowns from Jacob Eason, ranked 13th in the ESPN 300, last season. Krenz was offered a preferred walk-on spot on January 8th and had an in-home visit with Eric Mele.
