Ike Iroegbu becomes second former Washington State player to join German-based club Jena

PULLMAN – Former Washington State basketball players aren’t necessarily an abundant species in Europe, but now two of them will be playing for the same German Bundesliga team.

Ex-Cougar guard Ike Iroegbu signed with Science City Jena on Thursday, his agency Wasserman Mdeia Group announced. The Jena, Germany, based professional club is also the current home of former WSU forward Kyle Weaver, who signed with Science City in January.

Iroegbu spent his professional season with the Agua Caliente Clippers of the NBA G-League and this last week has represented his hometown Sacramento Kings at the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.
