Fellow WSU alum, Lisa Roman, won silver for the second-straight year at the 2018 World Rowing Championships.
PLOVDIV, Bulgaria – Former Washington State rower Ieva Adomaviciute captured gold in the double sculls, while fellow alum, Lisa Roman, won silver in the eight, Sunday at the 2018 World Rowing Championships.
Adomaviciute (Kaunas, Lithuania) teamed up with Milda Valciukaite to represent their native-Lithuania in the women's double sculls. The duo placed second in both the opening heat and semifinal before putting it all together to take home the gold medal and become world champions with a time of 6:44.
