The Varna native was named the best female Bulgarian Basketball player abroad.

SOFIA, Bulgaria - Washington State star forward and Varna, Bulgaria native Borislava Hristova was voted the best female Bulgarian basketball player playing abroad for 2018 by the Bulgarian Federation of Basketball. Hristova also earned the honor in 2016.
Putting together one of the best scoring seasons in WSU history, Hristova is averaging 20.8 points for game and is ranked third for scoring in the Pac-12, and 16th in the country. Hristova's play has not gone unnoticed as she was named to the Cheryl Miller Award Top-10 in early February.
