The Washington State Cougars will wrap up their football season when they head to Salt Lake City to face the Utah Utes on Saturday morning. This will be the second-straight year the Cougs travel to Utah’s capital, and they’d surely like to reverse the fortunes of last year’s difficult loss.
WSU comes into its final game having played just three of six previous scheduled contests, and having seen the field just once since October 14. The Cougs sit at 1-2 and technically would qualify for bowl eligibility with a win at Utah, but head coach Nick Rolovich has indicated the team would not pursue any offer of a postseason game.
