PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State true freshman sprinter Louie Hinchliffe will make his national championships debut this week as he opens the 2023 NCAA Championships Wednesday night in the national semifinal round of the men's 100-meter dash. Hinchliffe, who tied the Washington State program record at the NCAA West Preliminary in the 100m (10.17) to qualify for this year's championships, will compete in the first of three semifinal heats Wednesday beginning at 5:46 p.m. (PST) from Austin, Texas.
While making his collegiate outdoor debut at Mike A Meyers Stadium, the same venue as this year's championships, Hinchliffe clocked a wind-aided 10.
