Friday morning I heard Brock Huard say it's the biggest game of The Mike Leach Era when Washington State plays at Arizona Saturday. The Cougar Road Show starts at 11 a.m., the pre-game show's at noon with kickoff at 1 p.m. on 710 ESPN Seattle.
If the Cougs win, they'll be 5-2 and next week face a Stanford team that is probably going to be 6-1 after it pummels the Huskies on Saturday. In this scenario, the winner of the Stanford-Washington State game will lead the Pac-12 North Division.
That possibility is enticing enough for ESPN to suggest that "College GameDay" could come to Pullman for the first time on Halloween if WSU and Stanford win this week.
